Sea & Spices is a shop behind one of the stalls on the Albert Cuyp market specialising in Asian ingredients and foods. These include Japanese sushi items, Chinese teas, Thai rice noodles, Indonesian spice mixes and frozen fish and seafood (shrimp, lobster, crab).

The selection also contains some interesting, very un-Asian products such as Chiver's marmelade and all-American Mom's cake mix. Perhaps these are just for the stray expats who wander into the shop and might be missing home. A small selection of fresh, ready-made dim sum, sushi and Chinese cakes is also available to take away.
 
This is a great place to stock up on hard-to-find or very specific Asian ingredients. Service is friendly and helpful, it's just a shame some of the shelves are only half full. This gives Sea & Spices a rather Spartan, forlorn appearance.
