De Pizzabakkers will open a new branch on March 12, 2011. The growing restaurant chain will open its fourth location on Plantage Kerklaan, a few doors up from Italian wine shop Sagra Dell'uva.

In addition to the restaurant's specialities, wood-oven pizzas and Prosecco, the Plantage Kerklaan branch will also be a paninoteca, serving a selection of sandwiches.

To promote the opening, De Pizzabakkers will be giving away free pizza slices on Friday, March 11 between 4pm and 10pm.

It's good to see another restaurant opening in Amsterdam's Plantagebuurt, which is lovely to wander around but otherwise doesn't have much going on.
