A rash of Asian lounges have opened in Amsterdam in the last few years, including Geisha, Genki and Orbit. Uncle Wong is 'just' a restaurant, although the subdued lighting, black tables and red leather sofas might make you think otherwise.

Chinese restaurant Taste of Culture is located on Korte Leidsedwarsstraat, a side street off Leidseplein known for its many mediocre tourist traps. On the recommendation of a friend, I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt.
